SNOWMOBILE TRAILS allow you to visit the winter landscape in the Upper Peninsula, one of the most beautiful that you can have a chance to see. Snowmobilers will find over 3000 miles of road, abandoned railroad grades, and trails through hardwood stands, pine forest and frozen swampland awaiting them. Several hundred miles of those snowmobiling trails are managed in a partnership between the Hiawatha National Forest, Michigan DNR, and local snowmobiling clubs.  For rules and regulations, maps, and current snowmobiling information, visit the Michigan DNR snowmobiling website. For other resources, please check out the following organizations; EUP Snowmobile Council, Seney Snowmobile Association, Schoolcraft County Motorized Trails Association, U.P. Snowmobiling, and UP Travel.
